JFWC is a diverse church of young and old, singles and families, from different ethnic groups and backgrounds. During our service, you can expect contemporary worship, biblical teaching, and a place to find community. We are all about building relationships, raising strong families, and staying connected to our community. Our kid’s and teen ministries, growth groups, and weekly encounters provide your family with numerous ways to gather, connect, grow and serve with us.

We are excited to host GRAMMY ® and DOVE Award-winning artist Guy Penrod at Joplin Family Worship Center this December! By appearance alone, Guy has a signature look that is recognized around the world. From hair to height, belt buckle to boots, piercing eyes to engaging grin, Guy is a presence that is easily recognized. Beyond that, there is substance behind the style, because Penrod’s authenticity causes people to listen to what he has to say. Guy’s rasp-tinged country style vocals and experience on stage over the years, have given him the ability to be relaxed and confident in every setting. He has a stage presence that few can pull off. But more importantly, Guy is a man of character on stage and off, living a life of faith, loving others and capping it off with a warm-hearted grin.

WORSHIP PROTOCOL:

We welcome children to participate in the worship portion of our service, after all, we are a “Family Worship Center.” But to ensure safety and order, we ask that parents train your child in worship by being present with them. It is our desire that all aspects of our service are done in decency and order so that no one is distracted. Worship flags are tools to help enhance our worship and should only be used during the worship portion of our service. They should not be used before or after service. Thank You for your cooperation and understanding.
