Dear Friends and Colleagues:

Happy New Year!  What are your resolutions for the 2018?  Is furthering your development knowledge or expanding your professional network part of your resolutions? If so, then your local AFP Chapter will most assuredly be your go-to resource this year.

I'm honored to serve your chapter this year and excited to mention a couple of programs that will provide you membership-value and opportunities for involvement.  Starting this month we will kicking off a NEW program called Funders Impact Series.  The series will spotlight a local funder each month, at the beginning of our luncheon programs.  It will be an opportunity to network with local philanthropists and understand the mission and vision from the funder's perspective.

Join us at 11:45 a.m. for a 15-minute discussion on what's on horizon for the foundation in 2018, along with opportunities or challenges facing the foundation and its areas of impact. Key takeaways will include how local nonprofits can help the foundation realize its vision through awareness, advocacy and collaborative work.
