Director's Insights
Dr. William Storrar shares his insights on the life and work of CTI.
|
A significant part of our mission is sharing the research of our CTI scholars with wider audiences.
As the snow falls here in Princeton, I bring news of our Spring Conversations series, five events in March where you can enjoy the wisdom and insights of some of the theologians, architects, anthropologists, and religion scholars in our research programs.
We start with our Spring webinar series, Architecture After Abraham. You can find more information and register below for a rich conversation on the influence of the three great Abrahamic traditions on our built environment.
Wishing you a safe and healthy 2022.

Exploring Questions of Gender, Justice, and Design
Season 5, Episode 3
Elise Edwards, Professor of Theology at Baylor University and CTI Member, discusses her journey from a practicing architect to professor of theology sharing how theology answered her question of “how we want to live and how architecture relates to that.” Her new book, Building Justice, Theological Commitments in Architectural Design explores how architecture relates to our daily life, our communities, and our common ethos and the importance of including five moral commitments during the design process: creativity, empathy, discernment, beauty, and sustainability.
