Planning is underway for the event of the spring season: The Annual Banquet! The fun night features the H.A.Y.D.E.N. Awards and the Culinary Competition as well as Silent and Live Auctions. The date hasn't been set yet, but plan on adding it to your calendar in April.

The Coeur d'Alene Salvation Army Kroc Center wants to make the season of giving line up with the season of need. Many local food banks are running low on donations, so they are teaming up with you —to help restock our local food pantries.
Download a shopping list or pick up an empty grocery bag and shopping list at the front desk. Go shopping and return your bag of groceries to The Kroc Center between February 1–15, 2019.

IDAHO COMMERCE WELCOMES DIRECTOR TOM KEALEY

Idaho Commerce is proud to welcome the department's new director, Tom Kealey. As a Treasure Valley business owner, Director Kealey’s extensive experience in the U.S. and abroad, coupled with his private sector know-how and vast business network, makes him an excellent selection for this important leadership role. 

“It’s a new career with new challenges,” said Director Kealey. “I’m excited for the opportunity to make an impact on Idaho and its future.” 

In this position, Director Kealey is responsible for retaining and attracting new businesses to Idaho, guiding Idaho businesses in international trade and sales, assisting communities develop necessary infrastructure for business growth, promoting tourism domestically and internationally, and encouraging innovation throughout the state. NEW IDAHO GOVERNOR SAYS EDUCATION
WILL BE HIS TOP PRIORITY

Idaho Gov. Brad Little said Monday his top priority for the state budget is education, and he plans to create a new cabinet of educators and parents to advise him.

The 64-year-old Republican kept to an upbeat theme in his first State of the State address to lawmakers in what is considered the official kickoff to the legislative session.

"Our state is on an incredible trajectory," he said. "With your help, I intend to lead us to the next level."
