Are you protecting your employees from the Top 4?
Falls, Struck By, Caught Between, and Electrocutions - the four categories that are the top killers in our industry year after year, both in Iowa and across the country. We owe it to our workers to watch out for these hazards and pay special attention to ladder safety and excavation safety as these were significant sources of associated hazards.
ABC of Iowa Safety Consultant Rich Formanek recommends members tie in specific hazards they see on their jobs for each category.
