American Job Center Partner Newsletter

Dear AJC Largo Partners,

I am excited to offer to the team the January edition of our monthly newsletter! January 2022 brings a great start to a year of collaboration, coordination, and the consistency of a strategic workforce development operation. Through our updates, upcoming workshops, scheduled events, and workforce activities, we will continue to provide opportunities for growth in all areas to supply businesses with qualified candidates and the job seeker with resources and career pathways. Remember, in our collective efforts in Prince George’s County we partner to create value, equality, and equity to sustain our Workforce Development and propel productivity through innovative ways to gain access to services.

The AJC Newsletter will go out on the 15th of the month. Please forward or submit your highlights, accomplishments, success stories and plans for the existing and the upcoming by the 12th of the month.

Thank you, Maryland Department of Labor, for your job development, thank you Prince Georges County Workforce Development Board for your leadership, thank you Employ Prince Georges for your administration, and thank you partners for your communication, teamwork, and provision.

Sincerely,

The impact Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had on the world is everlasting. His leadership, strength, resilience, compassion and determination is inspiring and felt across the nation. His passion for change, justice and the equality for all helped to shape our current culture and the values we all share today.

As we take the day to remember Dr. King, his beliefs and his many accomplishments, we can also remember to follow in his footsteps the remaining days of the year. As workforce development professionals, we too have the opportunity to make a change in our community.

"Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle."

- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
