Beginner's Line Dancing

Wednesday - July 1st

1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Join instructor Joan Colombo as she teaches us how to line dance! Line dancing is a form of synchronized dancing in which dancers are arranged in rows, or lines. Dancers move in unison, so no partners are required. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, line dancing is for everybody! Beginner’s Line Dancing is an easy and energizing way to get some exercise while enjoying some great music and good company.

Movie Matinee for Adults: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

Enjoy cooking, chatting, and trying new recipes? Join us for Cook the Books! We'll meet once a month to try different recipes from a cookbook. This month's pick is The Mediterranean dish: simply dinner: more than 125 easy Mediterranean diet-inspired recipes to eat well and live joyfully by Suzy Karadsheh.

Sound Healing Journey

Wednesday - July 15th

Experience a transformative sound bath led by Ananda Priti, a gifted sound healer with over eight years of expertise. In this serene environment, Ananda utilizes high-quality gongs, crystal and brass singing bowls, and chimes to create harmonious melodies that envelop you in soothing vibrations. Each sound wave promotes deep relaxation and inner peace, guiding you on a rejuvenating journey that reduces stress and revitalizes the spirit. Participants often report a profound sense of calm, enhanced clarity, and emotional release, making this sound bath an ideal escape for anyone seeking balance and tranquility in their life.


No prior meditation experience is needed—just bring yourself, an open mind, and the willingness to relax. Chairs will be provided, but you are welcome to bring a yoga mat, blanket, or pillow for added comfort.


Wallington patrons will have priority during the first week of registration beginning June 24th. Non-residents will be able to register beginning July 1st.


You must enter a library card number to register, regardless of residence. Registrations without a valid library card number and out of town residents registering before their date will be canceled.

Color and Craft for Adults

Enjoy a calm, welcoming space to unwind, color, and work on your own craft projects. Adult coloring books and supplies will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring personal projects such as knitting, crocheting, or embroidery.

Diabetes Self-Management with Mid-Bergen Regional Health Commission

Learn practical strategies to better understand and manage diabetes through this interactive two-part workshop series. Participants will learn about diabetes, basics, blood sugar management, healthy eating, physical activity, medication adherence, and lifestyle habits that support overall health and wellness. Topics will also include preventing complications, managing stress, and setting realistic goals for long-term success. Participants will leave with tools, resources, and strategies to help build healthy habits and improve quality of life.

Join us for an adult yoga class! Class is beginner and intermediate friendly. Modifications can always be made for poses to ensure safe movement for your body.

Learn how Yoga benefits people with arthritis, improving physical function, reducing pain, and improving mental health.


Yoga exercises for balance, to improve everyday functionality.


This workshop is interactive and fun with props & community engagement, focusing on benefits of Yoga Asanas for Arthritis & improving Balance. 


Please bring 1 or 2 pound weights, or a full, sealed water bottle.

Adult Craft: Modern Calligraphy for Beginners

Wednesday - July 29th

6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Explore the basics of modern calligraphy using brush pens and create a beautiful quote! In this hands-on workshop, participants will first learn how to use brush pens. Next, they will practice writing letters and words using provided lettering worksheets. At the end, they’ll create their own brush-lettered phrase or quote to take home. All supplies will be provided.


Wallington patrons will have priority during the first week of registration, beginning July 8th. Non-residents will be able to register beginning July 15th.

Adult Henna Program

Thursday - July 30th

5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Adults are invited to come and have beautiful henna patterns drawn on their hands! Henna is a plant based natural dye. It’s made out of dried leaves. Leaves are ground into a fine powder then mixed with essential eucalyptus oil and water to make a paste which is applied with the help of cones to make beautiful patterns. The finished pattern has a rich brown color upon drying and stays well for 7-10 days!


Wallington patrons will have priority during the first week of registration, beginning July 9th. Non-residents will be able to register beginning July 16th.

Little Master Chef:Jurrasic Kitchen

Wednesday - July 8th

Skillet Herb Flatbreads

Tweens and Teens can step back in time and get creative in this hands-on cooking class inspired by fossils and early food traditions. Participants will make their own flatbread dough, press herbs and seeds into the surface to make "fossil-style" imprints, and cook their flatbreads before adding veggie toppings.
