2025/2026 AACP APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

The AACP is a four-year apprenticeship program, approved for HVAC technicians in Maryland and Virginia and is designed to equip you with the necessary training to progress from an apprentice to a journey person, setting the foundation for a stable and rewarding career. With a growing demand for skilled workers in this field, HVAC/R offers the promise of year-round employment, competitive income, and opportunities for advancement.

The Maryland Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) offers programs and services that help people with disabilities go to work and help businesses hire job-ready employees. DORS is a division of the Maryland State Department of Education.

The mission of DORS is to provide leadership and support in promoting the employment, economic self-sufficiency and independence of individuals with disabilities.

DORS also operates a separate division out of Timonium - the Disability Determination Services (DDS), which makes medical decisions about disability claims filed by Marylanders for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

The Division of Rehabilitation Services does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion or disability in matters affecting employment or in providing access to programs.

CRYSTAL MEADOWS

Crystal was born in Wilmington, NC and raised throughout the North and Southeast region – Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Alabama and currently resides in Winder, Georgia. Moving numerous times throughout her school years, it provided her an opportunity to learn the importance of connecting with all people.

Graduating from Campbell in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, she was determined to get a job. She knew she had done all the right things leading up to graduation day. Highschool included graduating with above a 4.0, being involved in forensics (public speaking), track, National Honor Society, and Student government. College included the usual class schedule, internships, Pharmacy Readiness Enrichment Program, and intramural basketball.

After she completed her senior year summer internship, and was provided with great feedback, she was sure she had landed a job; yet, the company went on a hire freeze. With a 4 year degree, no job and loans she did not have too much of an option; she moved back home with her parents and began to job search. Through training and mentorship she landed her first job 6 months later. She has been in the Pharmaceutical Industry, specific to life sciences/AGILE (lean/six sigma), for the last 10 years. She has obtained her lean six sigma yellow and green belt helping to reduce waste and variance on various projects.

Crystal is married her best friend and recently had a baby girl October 12, 2023. She enjoys singing, traveling and playing sports. Crystal is known for her energy, live personality and ability to connect with anyone she runs into.

Being that college student and knowing what it feels like to graduate jobless, she is determined to help everyone she can with her passion to see others grow and prosper in their career dreams. Let’s KRUSH it!!
