Apply To Be a mspWellness Champion!

All summer long, we’re accepting applications for the mspWellness Champion designation program! Applications received and approved by September 30th will be featured at the annual celebration event in November.

We’re hosting 30-minute virtual information sessions on August 8th, or September 11th to learn more about the program and the application. Join us on a date that works for you!

Join the list of 36 worksites from our first year who have been named mspWellness Champions, and be recognized for your outstanding work in 2023! Learn more and apply at mspwellness.com/champions!

A Word on Summertime Safety From HealthPartners!

Summer is here! From swimming and biking to barbeques and bonfires, summer brings plenty of fun, but with fun can come risks. Did you know that summer can be the busiest time of year for injuries in emergency departments?

The good news is that most summertime injuries are preventable – click here to learn more about these common summer safety hazards:

The Minneapolis Regional Chamber recognizes that supporting employee health and wellbeing is a core value for employers across the region. That’s why seven years ago we developed the mspWellness program and aligned with HealthPartners to support the creation of the Community LivingWell - mspWellness solution. Community LivingWell is a unique offering which places employees at the center of the program providing a myriad of supports, while also helping reduce health care costs and creating a space for organizations to be part of a wellness community and for employers to collaborate, learn, and accelerate health outcomes across our region’s workforce.

You do not need to be insured by HealthPartners to join the mspWellness LivingWell community. The Minneapolis Regional Chamber was the first to join this employer-employee community and we invite you to come on board!

New Workbook for Minnesota Employers

Last month, the Minnesota Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP) published a new workbook, Establishing a Workplace Wellness Initiative.

The toolkit offers best practices for implementing new wellness programs, sample policies, communication plans, and more.

It’s a great tool for employers and worksite wellness professionals. Check it out!
