Letter from the President
Summer has arrived and that means that many of us may be dusting off our sporting equipment and spending more time outside soaking up the sun and enjoying our favorite sports. I often find that some of the skills I possessed during more regular play has diminished with the long winter hiatus. Bartlesville Network June Luncheon:
Building Personal Connections
Speaker: Debbie Starnes
Thursday, June 9, 2016 // 11:30 - 1:00pm
Bartlesville Regional United Way
Donors should be at the heart of our organizations, alongside the people we serve. The first step in learning to develop a relationship with donors is to develop a relationship a connection to the people we serve. This training will explore our relationships with donors with a focus on building personal rather than functional relationships. We will explore various age groups and the different characteristics that influence giving and the way we keep those donors in touch. Basic tenants of fundraising will be discussed, along with ways you can keep your focus on the donor and their focus on the people you serve.
