ONE SERVICE ONLY AT 10:15 A.M.
Like Eagle That Sunday Morning
Reverend Mary Ann Macklin
This summer, we Unitarian Universalists will explore the many sources we draw from for inspiration. What sources resonate with you?   How do these sources provide grounding for you in these uncertain times?  Reverend Macklin will offer reflections on these questions and provide an update on our 2017 Unitarian Universalist General Assembly.
This Week in Religious Education-- Sources Summer
As our children explore our fourth UU source: wisdom from the world's religions, and mark the end of the month of Ramadan, our preschoolers will hear a traditional Muslim story, The Lost Key. Our K-8th group will be beginning their Sources Summer Camp exploring world religions with Sufi peace dancing, prayer flags, and prayer beads. Our high school youth group is on a summer hiatus.
This Sunday! Drumming Workshop for the 4th of July Parade
Come learn some short and simple rhythms to play in the  4th of July Parade.  Drums and small percussion instruments will be provided, all ages welcome. Colleen Haas will be our instructor. Gather near the west wall of the Meeting Room (Sanctuary) after service this  Sunday, June 25 at around 11:15 a.m.
UU Humanists and Freethinkers Meet at a New Time
in June and July
The UU Humanists and Freethinkers will meet at 11:45 a.m. in Room 208 instead of 12:45 p.m. to accommodate the one service only schedule through July 30th.
Invitation from Bloomington PRIDE:
Orlando Pulse Remembrance and Community Pitch-In Picnic
It's been a year since we lost 49 members of our LGBTQ+ family at Pulse Orlando. Join us on Sunday, June 25.   We will gather to remember the victims and learn ways we can all support LGBTQ+ people of color-particularly in the Latinx community. The memorial will be followed by a free, family-friendly, pitch-in picnic.  Memorial donations will be collected for the onePULSE Foundation. BBQ pulled pork, chips, water, and soda for 150 people will be provided by Kroger. Please bring your own food to support the pitch-in.
UU Board of Directors Meeting June 28
The regular monthly UU Board meeting, originally scheduled for June 21, will take place on Wednesday, June 28, at 7:00 p.m. in the Library.
Lost and Found Alert
Missing a jacket, water bottle, scarf, umbrella, shirt, sweater, hat or gloves? Please check out the very nice collection of lost and found items on the Courtyard coat rack. We'll be taking it all to Goodwill soon.
Marsh Stores Purchased by Kroger --
Let's Use up these Marsh Cards
Here are the denominations we have on hand of Marsh grocery cards:
Two $100 cards, Four $50 cards, Five $25 cards
If you are about to stock up, please buy some of these cards and use them at Marsh before the end of June. Lots of good sales there at the moment; most things are 20% off. Purchase of grocery cards results in the church receiving 5%-7% of the purchase price as a donation from the various grocery stores, and this program earned $7,000 for our budget this year!
