Step back in time

Thank you to the Lakeway Civic Corporation for funding this project to preserve the city's history.
Court amnesty available
Lakeway Municipal Court is offering a summer amnesty program through Aug. 30 to dismiss Failure to Appear and Violate Promise to Appear charges under certain conditions.
Court officials are observing Presiding Judge Kevin Madison's formal standing orders not to arrest individuals with active Lakeway arrest warrants who voluntarily turn themselves in to court staff during normal business hours.
The city's Building and Development Services Department recently approved site development plans for The Landing at Lakeway, a 94-unit townhome project on Lohmans Spur. The city re-zoned the land to R-5 condominium use in July 2006. Owners say they plan to start delivering homes in the first quarter of 2019.
