One more opportunity to attend the Square on Lohmans town hall meeting
The City of Lakeway and Legend Communities held their first Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, June 5 and will hold a second meeting  on Tuesday, June 11 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Legend Communities holds an option to purchase approximately 60 acres of land from Lakeway MUD for future development at the intersection of Lohmans Crossing and Lohmans Spur just west of the new Lakeway Police Station (known as the Square on Lohmans). The developer, Legend Communities, is seeking public input on the potential development of this land and welcomes your feedback. Mighty Mujer Triathalon to take place this Sunday
The all-female, sprint-distance Mighty Mujer Triathlon Austin will take place this Sunday, June 9 at Lakeway City Park. The race begins at 7:00 a.m. and should conclude around 10:30 a.m. Come out and support these amazing women as they swim, bike, and run along Lake Travis. The race will benefit Colin’s Hope which raises water safety awareness to prevent children from drowning. For further details, please visit ,
4th of July parade
Celebrate Independence Day by attending the City of Lakeway’s 44 th annual parade  on Thursday, July 4 th  at 8:30 a.m .  The parade will feature floats designed by businesses and organizations in the Lake Travis area. The deadline to turn in your  parade entry form is  June 26  We are honored to have NASA Research Pilot Kenneth Dale Cockrell (Captain, U.S. Navy, Retired) as our Grand Marshall this year! The parade route will go up Lakeway Drive from the Live Oak Clubhouse to Cross Creek. Immediately following the parade, please join us at the Lakeway Activity Center, to hear remarks from our grand marshal, listen to patriotic music, and enjoy a hot dog lunch. Wear your red, white and blue and gather with family and friends to enjoy this City of Lakeway tradition!

It's time for another exciting night at Big Band Bash on Monday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m. Put on your dancing shoes and bring your own beverages and snacks to the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek Road. Enjoy big band music from the 17-piece  Republic of Texas Big Band , featuring David Cummings and Lisa Clark on vocals. This event is free and open to all ages.
