Teachers: Join This 3 Credit Hour Workshop!

This five day experience is designed for area educators with the purpose of providing first-hand experience about rewarding careers available through in-demand industry sectors of the county.

Small group discussions include big questions like: “What are the three most important skills students must have to be successful in manufacturing and why?” or “How should education change to be more relevant to student’s lives and future careers?” These questions will spark interest and set a purpose for the remainder of the Boot Camp. Plus, get inside tours and hands-on experience at local companies.

Educators earn three hours of graduate credit from Ashland University for successful completion of the full Boot Camp and creation of the unit or project to be used with students. Generous community foundations and agencies have provided funding to offset a majority of the graduate credit.
