SMALL SHIP EXPERIENCE WHAT IS VIDANTAWORLD'S ELEGANT?
I was lucky enough to be one of over 80 travel agents who got to sail on the VidantaWorld's Elegant, while only on her 4th sailing!
First — the FOOD. Absolutely fantastic. And dangerous when there’s a 24-hour tapas bar involved.
But what really stood out was the atmosphere onboard. With only about 180 guests on a ship built for 216, it almost felt like we had our own private yacht. No crowds. Quiet spaces everywhere. Endless spots to relax and just soak in the Riviera views.
And speaking of views… when the ship dropped anchor, it would slowly spin, giving us a full 360-degree panorama of the coastline. I could have watched that all day.
The staff and entertainers made the experience even more memorable. We actually got to know so many of them throughout the sailing. Our Food & Beverage Manager, David, joined us at dinner each evening and taught us a new word and its meaning every night — such a fun and personal touch that made the experience feel so special.

One of my favorite presentations at ASTA was from
HX Expeditions.
Why? Because of how passionate they were about what they do. They had one expedition guide speak and he has been on over 100 expeditions!! That kind of passion and knowledge makes me want my first expedition to be with them.
Can you guess his favorite country? Greenland. I truly didn't see that coming, but he loved the culture there and how welcoming the people were.

EU ETIAS postponed again....
I've been getting a lot of questions and concerns about the EU "VISA." Here is some clarification.
ETIAS is a pre-travel security authorization, not a visa. It screens for security threats, health risks, or immigration risks before arrival. ETIAS is expected to begin operations in Q4 2026, postponed from earlier 2024 and 2025 timelines.
Applications will be fully online or via a mobile app, intended to be fast and user-friendly. Travelers cannot register for ETIAS yet; the EU will announce the official launch date closer to the time.
The authorization fee is expected to be €7 (subject to change).
