During the month of June, our jean day contribution match is going to the Area 9 Special Olympics.

The mission of Special Olympics Michigan is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Athletes develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy while participating in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship among their families, Special Olympics athletes, and the community. The athletes achieve their dreams with the support of caring volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff. Donations from Michigan citizens and businesses provide funding for the program.

This year we are excited to help sponsor Wednesdays in the Park, put on by the Bay City State Theatre.

Each year the State Theatre puts on free concerts at Wenonah Park on Wednesday nights starting in June and going through September.

This month we are also donating to the Bay City Lions Club!

The Bay City Lions Club are a group of service-minded men and women who are dedicated to working and raising funds to make their community a better place to live in. These rounds help support their work with the handicapped, the under privileged, the aged, the sick, the blind, the deaf, and the youth of the community.

We are happy to once again be a sponsor for the Walleyes for Warrior annual event.

Walleyes for Warriors is a free recreational therapy event for veterans. It is a small way for us to say "Welcome Home," and "Thank You" for serving our country.

We are also helping sponsor the annual Hot Rods, Hops, and Heros fundraiser put on by the Bay Veterans Foundation.

This year's fundraiser will be Saturday, June 17th, at the Tri-City Brewing Company from 12 pm until 3 pm. There will be live music, food, music 50/50, raffles and more!
