Sport History Spotlight: Show Jumping Hall of Fame at the USHJA Wheeler Museum
The Show Jumping Hall of Fame has a new look and new social media channels. The Hall of Fame was organized in 1987 to promote the sport of show jumping and to immortalize the legends of the men, women and horses who have made great contributions to the sport. The Hall of Fame is located in the Kentucky Horse Park, where the collection of mementos and artifacts from the sport’s history is housed in the Wheeler Museum at USHJA Headquarters, and plaques honoring the inductees can be seen at the Rolex Stadium. Stop by the Wheeler Museum to check out the current exhibit, “Through the Lens: The Art of Hunter/Jumper Photography,” which includes memorabilia of legendary jumpers and riders alongside iconic photos.
