Amanda Angstadt has a special talent! She has been racing for about 7 years. Her dad purchased a Quarter Midget and asked if she would like to give it a try to see if she would like it. Needless to say, she loved it and the rest is history! She began her racing career in that Quarter Midget car when she was 12 years old, and raced in it for 4 years. After her fourth year, she moved up to where she is today, which is racing a Tobias Slingshot.
Her favorite part about racing is that she gets to spend time with her family who love racing just as much as she does!
Last year alone, she was fortunate to have competed and won 6 Races plus a Series Championship!
Ultimately, her goal in racing is to never give up, stay positive and stay consistent in all that she does.
Lori Anewalt was Amanda’s grade school teacher at Sacred Heart, and Anewalt’s has been a part of her unique journey over the last couple of years as a sponsor for Car #55 on the track! We are always cheering for Amanda when she races and hope that she continues in her success behind the wheel!
