LTC Provider Questionnaire on COVID-19 Surge Capacity
Purpose: As the state prepares for a surge of COVID-19 cases in the coming days, the three long-term care associations are working together to find out about long term care providers plans, capacity and current practice.
Kansas State Fire Marshal will continue Life Safety Surveys - Virtually
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, The Office of the State Fire Marshal wants to remind everyone that the fire & life safety codes and standards are still applicable. All commercial and multi-occupancy residential buildings should maintain fully operational fire and life safety systems as required by the applicable codes and standards. Those responsible for these buildings should adhere to the expected schedules for inspection, testing, and maintenance that are vital to their operation.
Guidance on Extending CPR Certifications
KDHE adds state to travel quarantine list - Connecticut
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has added one state to the quarantine list: Connecticut. This is effective for persons returning April 6, and moving forward.
