Know Theatre of Cincinnati is proud to announce an $8,000 grant from the Elsa Heisel Sule Foundation to support Production Apprenticeships for its 2026-2027 MainStage season. This funding will help provide hands-on, paid training for emerging theatre professionals working alongside Know Theatre's production staff.

LEAD Training has received $60,000 in grant funding from the GE Aerospace Foundation & Butler County United Way. The GE Aerospace Foundation Future of Manufacturing Fund will support LEAD's Manufacturing Workforce Initiative, while the Butler County United Way funding will specifically support Career Quest students at Monroe High School.
Know Theatre of Cincinnati is grateful to the Maxwell C. Weaver Foundation for a $5,000 grant in operating support. This funding helps sustain Know Theatre's year-round MainStage programming and community access initiatives, including Welcome Thursdays, which reserves free and pay-what-you-can tickets for patrons who cannot afford full ticket prices.
People Working Cooperatively (PWC) celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters in Sharonville on September 14 with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, joined by local and state elected officials, community partners, advocates and staff. The renovated 70,000-square-foot facility will allow the nonprofit to serve more individuals and families more efficiently in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
The Grey Muzzle Organization has awarded a significant grant to the Found House Interfaith Housing Network (IHN) to strengthen local efforts to support vulnerable senior dogs in our community. The grant supports Found House IHN’s ongoing commitment to improving outcomes for senior dogs through reduced barriers to pet-friendly housing, temporary shelter, access to medical care, and compassionate care programs.
IPM Food Pantry announced the installation of a new Harm Reduction Vending Machine at its pantry, created in partnership with the Clermont County Mental Health and Recovery Board. The machine is designed to provide convenient, confidential access to supplies that can help prevent overdose deaths, reduce health risks, and connect community members with practical supports.

Tumble out of work and stumble to The Banks for 9/25 Day: A Dolly Parton Celebration on Friday, September 25, 4:00pm to 9:25pm. The Banks will celebrate the Queen of Country with an evening inspired by Dolly Parton’s music, unmistakable style and commitment to literacy. Participating bars and restaurants throughout The Banks will feature Dolly-inspired cocktails, music and special activations.
The Art Academy of Cincinnati (AAC) will be a destination for the 2026 FotoFocus Biennial, presenting four exhibitions and five free public events featuring internationally recognized artists, AAC alumni, and emerging student artists and curators. FotoFocus at AAC explores photography as a means of documenting history, preserving memory, examining the present, and imagining what comes next. The exhibitions will be open to the public Oct. 9–31, at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Admission is free.
Boone County Public Library (BCPL) has been selected as one of 40 libraries nationwide to participate in the Yiddish Book Center’s Public Libraries Program on the theme Between Two Worlds: Exploring Jewish Culture and Religion through Yiddish Literature. The Yiddish Book Center provides grants, resources and training to public libraries across the country to host reading groups and related programming to explore how Yiddish literature can provide a springboard for powerful conversations about religion, assimilation, identity and immigration.
