Summerfair Cincinnati returns May 29â31 at Coney Island, featuring more than 300 juried artists from across the country. The long-running event combines visual art, live performances, and food, drawing more than 20,000 attendees each year. The festival also supports the regional arts community through scholarships, awards, and funding for local organizations.

Banklick Watershed Council is proud to announce over $408,000 in awards to restore and protect waterways in Northern Kentucky. This includes a $250,000 grant from the Kentucky Division of Water via the Clean Water Act §319 program, along with $158,000 in matching funds from the Kentucky GRANT program. These resources will enable the Council to update its watershed plan, create public greenspaces, and improve habitats to restore the health and vitality of this community waterway.

The bi3 Fund announced a nearly $7 million investment to support youth mental health and wellbeing across Greater Cincinnati. Youth led the funding decisions for $5.3 million to four organizations to create safe community spaces, while bi3 is investing an additional $1.5 million in Hopeful Empowered Youth (HEY!) to advance its regional strategy.
Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) announces a new partnership with Hamilton County Juvenile Court providing access to meaningful, creative opportunities for court-involved youth. This collaboration will debut with a multi-media exhibit showcasing the voices of young people currently housed at the Court's Youth Detention Center. âVoices Unheard: Art, Identity, and Experience,â opens May 11, continuing through May 31. Each piece, created with support from the music, English, art, and science teachers inside the Youth Center's Cincinnati Public School, reflects personal stories of identity, resilience, rehabilitation, and growth shaped by lived experiences.
The Victorian at Riverside, an assisted-living facility for older adults in Covington, is grateful to the Edelweiss Foundation for a $25,000 grant to provide meals for the residents.
The Boone County Public Library Foundation was recently awarded a $25,000 grant in support of the project Rejuvenate, Grow, Charge: Powered by the Community. This project was financially assisted by H.G., H.F. & Louise Tuechter Dornette Foundation, Fifth Third Bank, N.A., Trustee. This project will transform more than 30 acres at the Libraryâs Hebron Branch into an interactive and inclusive environment designed to promote environmental literacy, physical and mental wellness with walking trails and community gardens, as well as access to clean energy.
Fisher-Nightingale Houses, Inc. (FNHI)'s, "Compassionate Care Heals 2026" gala was held on April 25. This is the annual major fundraiser for FNHI, whose mission is to support the three Greater-Dayton Area Fisher Houses, which are compassionate care facilities for military men and women during times of medical need. Highlights of the evening included remarks from Colonel Dustin Richards, Commander of the 88th Air Base Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and the presentation of a $50,000 check from the leadership of New Season Ministry Church.

Kentuckians came together to support nonprofits across the Commonwealth during the 14th annual Kentucky Gives Day, raising $853,218 for a record 303 participating organizations through the statewide 24-hour giving event.
