Announcing Lightning-Fast Searching with Pinergy's New “Power Search”
In a hurry and just want to see all listings for a particular address? Then join more than 2,000 users who, after just 2 weeks, have already used Pinergy’s new Power Search to collectively perform more than 21,000 searches! Located in the main navigation at the top of every Pinergy page, the new Power Search lets you type in a property address or one or more MLS numbers. As you type an address, Pinergy will suggest matching addresses. Select any suggested address to find all listings for that specific address, or select the blue magnifying glass icon to find all listings matching your partial address. When entering MLS numbers (use spaces or commas to separate multiple MLS numbers), select the magnifying glass icon to find those listings quickly. Power Search searches Pinergy’s entire listing database, including off-market listings, to give you a thorough overview of the listing history of your searched property reaching back to the early 90s, but you can refine your search criteria by selecting the Edit Search button at the top of your search results. Power Search is ready now for both desktop and mobile devices. Check it out!

Selecting the Pinergy tile will group by topic all relevant videos, pre-recorded webinars, flyers, and guides. Learn Cloud CMA, Boost, and other third-party products by selecting their tiles. Streamline Office Management with Pinergy's New "Drop Subscriber" Feature
Participants and managers, you can now use Pinergy’s Office Management tool to drop agents and personal assistants from your office roster. The process is simple: navigate to Pinergy’s Tools|Office Management, select the office ID, then select the blue and red Drop Subscriber icon on an eligible subscriber (note: participants, managers, admins, and team IDs cannot be dropped through this function). Confirm and submit the drop request, and within 10 minutes, the subscriber will no longer be associated with that office. We hope this feature will streamline office management in Pinergy. Enhanced Auto-Count in Search, Hot Sheets, and Public Records
Search, Hot Sheets, and Public Records now feature “auto-count.” When you pause while typing into any search field, the match count for your search criteria will update automatically. You don’t need to select Count or another field: the count simply updates. This may sound like a small thing, but it makes searching in Pinergy easier and more efficient since you can compare match counts for different values without leaving the field.

Pinergy's Quicker Quick Search
Several fields in Pinergy’s Quick Search are now persistent, meaning each will retain its most recently used entry—even when you sign out of Pinergy. Your selections for property type, status, off-market timeframe, and radius (when Properties Nearby is selected) will be remembered from one Quick Search to the next, saving time and effort when performing multiple searches using similar criteria. If you haven’t used Quick Search recently, try the quicker Quick Search today!

Use the Map to Refine Your Search Results
The Search Results map provides tools to help you fine-tune your selections. On your desktop or tablet device, use the blue Map button at the top of the summary view to map some or all of the listings. Choose a property pin to preview the listing. Choose the list number to view the listing details, choose the photo to display the hi-res listing photos, and choose “View Schools” to open the school information for the property. Use the checkbox beside the list number to select/deselect the listing in your search results. Choosing the pushpin icon in the upper-left corner of the listing preview will pin the listing to the map, and you can pin as many listings as you’d like. Choose the pushpin icon in the upper-left corner of the map to display your pinned listings. If you forget where a property is located, choose “Locate on Map” to highlight its property pin. You can unpin a listing by choosing its trash can icon, and you can unpin them all by choosing “Clear All” at the top of the list. Use the checkboxes beside the list numbers to select/deselect listings in your search results (use the Select All checkbox to select/deselect all pinned listings). Choosing a list number will view detail reports for all selected pinned listings. Select/deselect listings until you’re happy with your choices and then close the map. Your listing selections will be retained in the summary view.

Homesnap to Discontinue Homesnap Showings
Homesnap has notified us that they intend to discontinue their showing service called Homesnap Showings very soon. We currently have a less than 1% adoption of this showing service. Still, we want to inform all our customers in advance that the integration in Pinergy will no longer be available starting on October 1. We will do our due diligence to provide another option for a showing service, and please note that ShowingTime will remain a showing service option in Pinergy as it has for the past several years.

Attention, Homesnap Pro Users
MLS PIN to Discontinue Homesnap Pro
We want to inform you in advance that MLS PIN’s contract with Homesnap (which began in 2015) is approaching its end and will not be extended. This decision was partly based on our responsive design enhancements to Pinergy over the past several years. Enhanced features include Pinergy’s Search and search map, interactive mapping (including parcel and school information overlays), and improved IDX and VOW (providing a better online experience for your Contacts)—all available on mobile and desktop devices. We encourage you to use these features as our agreement with Homesnap will officially end in late October. If you wish to continue using Homesnap Pro, please note that they will be rebranding to Homes Pro in the near future, and you are still welcome to use their product on your own. A More Valuable Supra System? Stay Tuned
Here's Why You'll Want to Keep Your Supra Lockboxes
We are revisiting our contract with Supra for their electronic lockbox system which offers an optional, more secure alternative to mechanical pushbutton or spin-dial lockboxes. Supra’s lockbox system with electronic showing notifications ensures that only valid eKEY app keyholders and those that the listing agent authorizes may gain access to a listed property. This gives peace of mind not only to the listing agent but also to the seller(s). If you are not currently a Supra eKEY app user and are not using Supra’s BT LE lockboxes (but have them in your possession), do not dispose of them, as a possible contract extension and Supra’s features may entice you once again to increase your level of security when accessing your listed properties. If you are currently using Supra’s more secure lockbox system with the eKEY app and BT LE lockboxes for your listings, stay tuned as we hope to soon share exciting details about more value coming to your eKEY app subscription and use of the electronic lockbox system.

What Are the Rules on Closing Out Sold Listings?
All your hard work has paid off, and the home you’ve listed with MLS PIN is officially sold! Now for a quick review: A listing in MLS PIN is considered Sold when the deed is recorded at the Registry of Deeds. Once the deed goes on record, you have 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) to report the MLS listing as Sold. This process helps everyone. The timely filing of all status changes allows all subscribers to benefit from a comprehensive database of up-to-date listing information, and we appreciate everyone’s assistance toward this end.

Jyotsna Thammineedi, Principal Developer
Jyotsna Thammineedi joined us nine years ago as a Senior Developer after working in the IT field as a developer and technical lead. Today she’s the Principal Developer for MLS PIN’s Pinergy system, responsible for helping build and implement features like the new Power Search, the integrated Search map, responsive design for Public Records, and honestly, too many more to mention. She also maintains standards and best practices, researches and shares tech updates with her team, and performs other tech-related tasks. Jyotsna’s favorite part about working at MLS PIN is, unsurprisingly, coding, which she likes to get a jump start on early in the morning before the hustle and bustle of the day, allowing her to focus on finding solutions to technical challenges. Currently, her team has begun using the Agile method for project management, which she feels is already leading to better communication and collaboration on projects benefitting MLS PIN customers. Jyotsna’s other interests include dining out, interior design, and conversations about technology that inspires and motivates her. We’re glad to have such a dedicated, tech-minded professional working on innovative solutions for our customers, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
