Coming Soon: Get a Community Snapshot with Local Information in Pinergy Listing Details
Learn more about a specific location and its demographics—right from a listing’s details. Pinergy’s Full Report, Public Report, and Data View soon will automatically provide up-to-date and meaningful insights into a listing’s neighborhood and its population. With a quick click or tap, you’ll map local grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, public transportation stops, schools, playlots, and more and then easily calculate walking or driving commute times. Do you want to see average incomes for individuals and families in the area? How about total population and population by age group? How educated are the people in the area? In what ways do they commute? It all will be there at the bottom of the listing’s details. Your Contacts receiving automatic property matches from Pinergy will have all this information at their fingertips too, so be sure to encourage them to take advantage of this great new resource.

Listing Stats—Right from Pinergy’s Search
The Stats button at the top of Pinergy’s Search page can run listing statistics for up to 100,000 listings at a time. Simply enter your search criteria (including areas you draw on the search map) and click the Stats button to see average original prices, list prices, sale prices, and other stats—or switch to medians if you’d like. Group listings by property type, status, town, beds, baths, and more. And when grouping by status, you may choose to view summary charts, detail charts, or no charts at all. You also can print or PDF your listing statistics report. The Stats button in Pinergy’s Search Results lets you run listing statistics for up to 1,000 listings at a time, but remember the Stats button on Pinergy’s Search page when you want to quickly run listing statistics for up to 100,000 listings at a time.

Ding! Pinergy Can Text Status Changes for Watched Properties
With Listing Watch, Pinergy will watch up to 50 listings for you and will immediately text you details when their statuses change. (This video shows how it works.) To set up text alerts, submit your mobile phone number on the Text Alerts tab in Pinergy’s Options & Settings and select “Listing Watch” under Alerts. (Once your phone number has been authorized via text messages, you’ll have the option to disable text alerts between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.) To add a listing to your Listing Watch, select the bell at the top of the listing’s details page or, in any of Pinergy’s interactive maps, at the top of the listing’s preview. To include notes with the text alerts, select the text bubble. Select “Listing Watch” in Pinergy’s navigation bar to view/manage all of your watched listings, and use Listing Watch Text Alerts to be notified immediately when a watched listing’s status has changed.

Get One-Click Access to More Tools and Information from Listing Details
From Pinergy’s listing details, view the property using Remine, RPR®, or realtor.com® Professional Search—without having to search for it again—by simply selecting the appropriate icon. (You must be a REALTOR® to use RPR®.) These icons are located at the top of the page in most listing detail reports on desktop or in the Additional Resources section on smartphone (or in desktop’s Data View), and they give quick and convenient access to many additional tools and reports outside of Pinergy. There’s even an option for community demographics and market statistics based on the property’s zip code. So select the applicable icon, and get more property information lickety-split!

Save Valuable Time with Pinergy’s Default Search Feature
When searching for listings in Pinergy, do you typically search the same area or for similar listings? If so, then you may want to define your own default search template. It’s easy to do. Choose the towns, property types, statuses, off-market timeframe, and other criteria to be used as your starting point for Pinergy’s Search. (You even can include “empty” fields from the Additional Criteria section!) Then save the search, selecting “Set as My Default Search Template.” If you already have a saved search you’d like to use for the default, then select the Load button, use the checkbox to select your saved search, and then select the Set as My Default button. After setting your default search template, it will load automatically when you select Search. Open the search map, and it will zoom to the results in your area. Of course, you can modify your criteria or even select the Clear Search button to “Clear All Search Criteria” or “Load System Default.” Resetting the default search template is easy too. Select “Load” and then “Reset Default” at the bottom of the window. So, save some time and have Pinergy start your searches the way you want them to start—with your own default search template!

Make Sure Your Cloud CMA Contact Information Is Up-to-Date!
Have you changed offices, phone numbers, or email addresses? A few minutes is all it will take to ensure that Cloud CMA and your customers receiving Cloud CMA reports can communicate with you effectively. Sign in to Cloud CMA, and then click your avatar (or your initials if you haven’t uploaded an avatar) in the upper-right corner of the page. (If you’re using a smartphone, select the hamburger icon in the upper-right corner of the page.) Select “Account Settings” to edit your profile. There you can update your email address, company name and logo, and other items. Be sure to save your profile. Select “Contact Info” to add/update phone numbers, email addresses, and other items to be displayed at the bottom of each report page. It will be time well spent, and your customers will appreciate having your current contact information.

Create a Boost Account, and Start Reaching Customers Online
When you first access Boost’s website via Pinergy’s Quick Links or Tools (or Listings for a listing-based digital ad), you’ll be able to start the ad process immediately by clicking “Start an Ad.” If prompted to sign in, close out of the sign-in window and continue with the ad. Once you’ve approved and paid for the ad, you’ll be prompted to create an account and password, and all future Boost transactions will be conducted with your account details and payment method. While not free, Boost’s digital ads are an extremely cost-effective way to reach the right customers where they spend their time online—at sites like Facebook, Instagram, and across the web—for as little as $49. Our price list flyer will give you an idea of how many customers you can reach at different price levels. And remember, MLS PIN customers receive a generous discount!

Listing Status Changed? File It with MLS PIN!
A friendly reminder: all listing status changes must be filed with MLS PIN within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. You should report your listing as under agreement once there is an enforceable purchase and sale agreement signed by the seller and the potential buyer. Your listing must be reported as sold once the deed is recorded at the Registry of Deeds. You can update your current listings in Pinergy by navigating to “Listings.”

Niki Amell, Software Quality Assurance Analyst
Do you enjoy the seamless performance of Pinergy’s latest and enhanced features? Niki Amell is part of the team responsible for ensuring these releases are error-free. She joined us three years ago as a customer service/technical support representative before being promoted to software quality assurance analyst. Before new Pinergy functionality is released to our customers, Niki reviews its behavior across diverse devices and reports to our developers anything that isn't perfect. This role requires much diligence and attention to detail. A lot goes on behind the scenes to make Pinergy work for you. Fortunately, Niki loves learning new things and has a passion for technology. Before joining us, she was a processing specialist at a large insurance company and worked as a barista, each position requiring another set of technical skills. Her free time is spent gaming, creating art, writing, and with family. Her interests vary widely, from classic cars to genealogy, from roller derby to ancient history and the paranormal.
