Multiplying Committed Disciples

Greetings!

Multiplying Committed Disciples is one way the Free Methodist Church is participating with God in the restoration of Latin America. We are sharing the Good News of Jesus with whoever (friends, neighbors, family, strangers), wherever (at work, at home, in the park, out shopping), and whenever (ordinary conversations, moments of crisis, and days of celebrations) the Holy Spirit prompts.

We know the difference Jesus has made in our lives, and the difference HE WILL Make in the lives of others. We can recount the ways He has turned sorrow into joy, despair into hope, bondage into freedom, darkness into light! So we can't help but to link arms with another and share our story.

But it is not just about sharing our story. It is about walking alongside of another, discipling new believers so that they will share the Gospel with people in their circle of influence...disciples who make disciples.

Multiplying committed disciples is about raising up generation after generation of Jesus followers, ordinary men and women, like you and me, who are willing to step out of their comfort zones to share the life changing Gospel of Jesus!

In this week's episode of the Your Link to Latin America, missionaries Nikki Roller, Katie Jewell and Thad Roller share the exciting news of how we are Multiplying Committed Disciples in Latin America.

EPISODE THREE Multiplying Committed Disciples

Three Ways to Pray:

Prayer is central to the work of the Free Methodist Church in Latin America. Would you join us this week praying specifically in the following ways?

1. May God guide each planter to people of peace so that new houses of peace can be established, and current houses of peace can be united as church plants.

2. May God multiply more committed disciples every day, willing to share God's love with others who also need it, so that many can see lives restored and transformed by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

3. That more leaders can be developed to present their gifts and talents for the extension of the kingdom of God.

4. We pray that God will help us with communications and resources for the mobilization of disciples and leaders to the places of development and training where new churches are planted.

Giving Tuesday

As you consider how you might impact your community and the world through your year-end giving, would you consider giving to the Latin America Strategic Initiatives Fund?

When you give to the Latin America Strategic initiatives Fund, you are supporting national leaders, local church initiatives and providing funds that can be used in the most strategic and most needed opportunities across Latin America.

We have a goal of raising $200,000.00 through this year-end giving campaign. These funds will take the pressure of fund raising off key leaders and international missionaries, allowing them to focus on the work God has before them.
