An effectively set up LinkedIn profile should help solidify why someone should work with you. It should be written from a sales touchpoint perspective rather than appearing like a resume.
Your profile should -
1. Draw leads in with a headline that sells. It can be how you solve their problem or the positive outcome that will ensue from using your product/service.
2. Capture their attention with a good hook at the start of your bio. Get specific by painting a picture of what working with you will lead to.
Elaborate on how you are qualified to solve their problems and how you differentiate from your competition. Detail your process and the best ways to reach you.
3. Show your expertise by filling out your most recent and relevant experiences and education and adding your top skills and services.
4. Have testimonials from clients and colleagues in the Recommendations section.
5. Display your best work by featuring posts, links, and media showcasing your expertise and the value gained from working with you.
6. Have a minimum of 10 posts to your LinkedIn profile so prospects can peruse your work and get a deeper feel for who you are.
