November 2019

It's getting dark so early, but in only a month, when the Winter Solstice comes around, we'll be able to look forward to the gradual return of longer days. Meanwhile, we have Thanksgiving to brighten our lives, with the excitement and hustle bustle of Christmas following. As we approach this season of gratitude and joyfulness, we are so thankful for our Mother Seton School alums, as well as our current students and faculty and staff. You make our lives bright!

In this busy season, I hope you're able to slow down for a minute, take a breath, appreciate the blessings you enjoy and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

On August 24, Alison Benjamin (MSS 2007) married TJ Baust at St. Joseph's Church in Emmitsburg, with a reception following at Liberty Mountain Resort. Matthew Benjamin (MSS 2011)

Matthew Benjamin (MSS 2011) is pursuing a doctorate in Pharmacy at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Baltimore. He was recently honored during the White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2023 held on September 13th. Matthew completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Pre-Pharmacy at Salisbury University.
Marshall Mott (MSS 2017)

Congratulations to Marshall Mott (MSS 2017) who recently signed to attend the University of Pennsylvania and pitch for their team, the Quakers. What makes this accomplishment even more impressive is the fact that Marshall is still a junior at Gettysburg High School. His talent on the mound resulted in an early offer from UPenn, and Marshall decided to accept. He is considering pursuing a degree in a business-related area. Way to go, Marshall!

They gathered with other class members last month to celebrate the 55th anniversary of their graduation from St. Joseph's High School. Congratulations, members of the Class of 1964---we salute you!

Among other places, in the Outer Banks, where one of our current families, the Kinnamonts, bumped into Molly Joyner (MSS 2000). They're all smiles in this photo!
