Hawkeye ATD Presents Nonprofit Training Day April 28
Save the date for the Hawkeye ATD Nonprofit Training Day on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Mount Mercy University CRST International Graduate Center in Cedar Rapids. This training is for anyone who works or volunteers at a nonprofit organization. It is a low-cost opportunity to attend learning sessions throughout the day. Gray Area Thinking Training Coming to Cedar Rapids
The United Way of East Central Iowa will present Gray Area Thinking workshops by presenter Ellen (Ellie) Krug on Thursday, March 12, 2020, in Cedar Rapids. The workshop will be offered at two times that day: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., along with a Community Presentation from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. Gray Area Thinking is an inclusivity presentation for interacting with diverse humans in a mindful and compassionate way. Iowa Women's Foundation Accepting Grant Applications Through April 30
The Iowa Women's Foundation is now accepting applications for 2021 projects focused on serving the needs and aspirations of women and girls in employment, child care, housing, education/training, transportation, and mentorship. Applications are due on April 30 at 5 p.m. An information session about IWF grantmaking is available on March 5 in Coralville. Find all of the details here or email grants@iawf.org .

EA Members Invited to Business Support Programs
The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance has announced its Business Support Programs for 2020. The programs are provided free for EA members. Please find the list here .

University of Iowa To Launch Master of Public Affairs Degree Program in Fall 2020
The University of Iowa is launching a Master of Public Affairs degree in fall 2020. The new degree will train individuals in public and nonprofit management and policy through an on-campus 42 hour degree program. The program is currently accepting applications. Wellmark Foundation Announces 2020 MATCH Grants
Wellmark Foundation has announced its 2020 MATCH grant programs for 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations in Iowa and South Dakota. Funding focuses on two key areas: increasing access to and consumption of nutritious foods, and creating safe and healthy environments in which to be active. Benton County Community Foundation Now Accepting Grant Applications
Applications are now being accepted for the Benton County Community Foundation's 2020 grant cycle. Grant applicants must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization or government entity serving Benton County. Applications are due on March 15, 2020. Please find more information here . The Nonprofit Network invites local nonprofit professionals to participate in monthly peer learning and networking groups. Peer groups are open to those currently working for a nonprofit organization. Peer groups are not designed for job seekers, students, or vendors (unless noted).
