Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine has created a global crisis. The current situation is not only a humanitarian crisis, but also one that will have impacts on the U.S. economy and the global business community. Interested Chamber members are invited to join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for a special briefing on the Russia-Ukraine crisis tomorrow, Friday, March 4 at 2:00 pm ET.
Speakers include:
- John Murphy, Senior Vice President, International Affairs
- Chris Roberti, Senior Vice President, Cyber Intelligence and Security
- Marty Durbin, President, Global Energy Institute
- Marc DeCourcey, Senior Vice President, Corporate Citizenship Center, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation
Topics covered will include:
- An overview of the current situation in Ukraine and measures being taken by the United States and our allies.
- An overview of Russian cyber capability, current activity and how businesses should prepare for potential disruption.
- An overview of the impact to our energy resources and domestic energy policy.
- An overview of the humanitarian crisis and what businesses can do to assist.
The NRRC is pleased to be able to share with our members resources such as these that keep you informed of issues that can impact your business.
Additionally, our partnership with the U.S. Chamber has enabled us to provide you access to a number of valuable resources throughout the pandemic.
Through our federation of chambers of commerce nationwide, your voice is amplified as we effectively advocated for COVID relief programs such as PPP, the Restaurant Revitalization Fund and more recently the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill.
