CDN Update

I hope you are well and looking forward a well-deserved Easter break.

We're delighted to announce that the highly anticipated CDN College Awards 2024 are now open for entries. These awards - now in their 25th year - are a fantastic opportunity to recognise the outstanding talent, skills, and achievements within colleges across Scotland. This is a chance for your college to shine. Submit your entries now and make sure to save the date - November 14th - for what promises to be an awesome evening highlighting your work and that of your colleagues.

In addition, colleges across Scotland opened their doors from 21 to 28 March to mark the second national Big College Open Week – aka #BigCOW. The campaign saw a wide range of exciting activities attracting potential students into colleges the length and breadth of Scotland. Organised by CDN's Marketing and Communications Network, the purpose of the week was to demonstrate all that colleges offer – including the variety of learning pathways and options open to students. Well done everyone who was involved!

College Awards 2024
Open For Entries

We are delighted to announce that the CDN College Awards are now open for entries!

The Awards recognise the talent, skills and achievements of colleges, their staff and their learners.

The deadline for entries is Friday 28 June 2024, and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 14 November at Radisson Blu, Glasgow.
Big College Open Week

This week, colleges across Scotland came together for the second Big College Open Week aka #BigCOW.

The week-long campaign kick started on Thursday 21 March, with colleges opening their doors to showcase all that the sector has to offer. The purpose of the week was to raise awareness of the benefits and pathways offered by colleges – and we demonstrated this through an exciting range of activities in every college through the week.

Big College Open Week is part of the #ChooseCollege collaborative national campaign, organised by the CDN Marketing and Communications Network, highlighting the importance of Scotland’s colleges and encourage potential students to – Choose College. Well done to everyone involved!
