Unite With Us Days, a community-wide volunteer event, returns this April with more ways and more places to get involved during Global Volunteer Month. April 10 and 11th are exclusive opportunities reserved at one of the UWGSL-supported agencies across Missouri and Illinois. Experience firsthand the impact and volunteer with fellow Leadership Givers and community champions. Bring your family, friends, coworkers, and let’s unite!

We’ve also added an exciting new opportunity—volunteer at the VEX Robotics World Championship, the largest student robotics competition in the world. Hosted by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF), whose global mission is to equip educators with programs that increase student engagement in STEM and computer science. No robotics experience needed—just enthusiasm for supporting future STEM innovators.

United Way Opens New Safety Net Nonprofit Funding Cycle for 2027 - 2029

United Way of Greater St. Louis opened its 2027–2029 Safety Net Funding Cycle on March 13, inviting all eligible nonprofits across our 16-county Missouri and Illinois region to apply. Selected nonprofits will receive a three-year contract to support and deliver essential services that help individuals and families meet urgent needs and build long-term stability.
