In observance of National Doctors' Day
|
Dear colleagues,
Saturday, March 30 is National Doctors' Day, and while we are genuinely appreciative of all our CIN care providers every day, let me take this opportunity to express my gratitude on behalf of all at MSHP.
We understand you face numerous challenges in your day-to-day practice, and that being an independent provider in 2024 is no easy task.
We are grateful to all the hard you work you do on a daily basis, for both your patients and for the Clinically Integrated Network.
Fondly,
Arshad K. Rahim, MD, MBA, FACP
Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Population Health
Mount Sinai Health System
Chief Medical Officer,

Mount Sinai Reaches Agreement with UnitedHealthcare
We are pleased to share that we have reached a new agreement with United, which will restore in-network access to Mount Sinai facilities for United- and Oxford-insured patients, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. Additionally, in-network access to Mount Sinai employed and voluntary providers will continue without interruption.
This is an enormous victory for our patients and for each of you who work so hard to provide the best possible experience and care for those we serve. This has been a difficult, uncertain time and we are so appreciative of the way you have continued to show up day in and day out, ready to take care of our patients and each other.
Tonight's town hall on this topic has been canceled.

Coming Soon: April VBC Performance Reports
|
Voluntary PCPs and pediatricians in our network will receive customized value-based care (VBC) performance reports in their OneDrive accounts in early April. The patient opportunity report includes patient-level information on care gaps and can be used to identify cohorts of patients that need visits to re-engage in care, close quality care gaps, and/or manage and document chronic conditions. Please be sure to use these reports for effective patient outreach.
New this year: Adult PCPs will also receive an In-Network Integration Performance Report, which includes practice-level measures on new office visits to CIN specialists. To learn more, please review the 2024 CI Program Scoring and Funds Flow Guide for Adult PCPs.
