Throughout the summer months, you’ll find the Southeast Gassers Association’s (SEGA) racing up and down the South and Midwest. Recently, roughly a quarter of this crew pressed the gas on a bit of different track — ice.

How do they do this you may ask?

The more common setup is a 22-inch tire outfitted with hundreds of screws for traction.

Meet us this month at the largest indoor automobile swap meet in the United States! Kyana Swap Meet is in its 57th year, and every one of their shows has sold out since 1984!

Featured Nova: Jeff Way's 1967 Nova

I watched this car drive by my shop every week and envied it so much. I kept asking the gentleman if he would sell it, and the answer was always the same.

“Not right now.”

This went on for a few years.

I, unfortunately, was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the age of 49 and had to go for surgery. When I got out and was resting at home, my wife told me that she heard the Nova I’d had my eye on for years was possibly for sale!

I immediately contacted the owner, and the rumors were true...
