The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon enables you to help make life better for our members and their families.

Run, walk, roll, bike, or just cheer us on. Your energy and effort will yield amazing results for our members.

Not a runner?
That's OK.
You can sponsor a runner and stay at home!
Please help us to successfully operate our Adapted Bike Program. Renewing your adapted bike loan agreement and paying your fees on time is a tremendous help to administrative staff and provides crucial funds to help sustain our programs.

It is now time to take a moment to
determine the following:

1. Is your child still using the adapted bike?
We rely on your loan fees to offset costs of the bikes.
The actual costs of the bikes are from $500 - $5000 and we  need your renewal fees  to continue to buy bikes and
parts so that kids can continue to ride.

2. Has your child outgrown the bike?
If so, please go online to register for an appointment to bring your child in. The last clinic date is March 30 th  and appointment spots are limited. We cannot guarantee any appointment dates after this time.

3. My child is no longer riding.
If you child isn’t using it any longer  PLEASE  return the bike.  We have so many kids on the waitlist needing the bike your child is not riding.   Return the bike to Cerebral Palsy Kids & Families, #121 – 7015 Macleod Trail SW, during regular office hours of 10am - 3pm ASAP or phone to make alternate arrangements @ (403) 205-4935.

facilitated workshop. This workshop was open to families, caregivers, and service providers.

It was successful in identifying barriers, challenges and success surrounding this issue. There were some great ideas shared.

Stay tuned for upcoming workshops.

One of our members, Lee Botbijl, practices a unique form of massage therapy called Facia Unwinding. He has a son with CP and he truly believes that this form of massage has helped his son. He would like to reach out to the CP Kids and Families community. Lee is conducting a study, whereby massage sessions will be performed at a very reduced cost. This is an invite-only opportunity with a limited number of spots. It will require a strong commitment of appointments and sharing of information. His business is located in Quarry Park, a community in SE Calgary.

If you'd like to apply to be part of this study, please email
