March is upon us and this month we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day with a few great events and even more just around the corner.


Flapjack Fundraiser
Saturday March 11, 2017 we are having our Annual Flapjack Fundraiser. Our Club 21 members and staff will be there serving up pancakes for a great cause. The event is happening at the Applebee's at  4805 Kietzke Ln, Reno, NV 89509 from 8am to 10am.

Doughboy Donuts Fundraiser
On March 21, 2017 DoughBoys Donuts will be offering exclusive World Down Syndrome Day donuts. Stop by your local shop to purchase your donut and part of the proceeds will be donated to the Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada. 

Governor's Mansion
In celebration of World Down Syndrome Day the Governor's Mansion along with the First Lady of Nevada, will be participating in lighting the Mansion blue on March 21, 2017. Stop by and see this wonderful display.

iCan Bike Camp
Bike Logo
iCan Bike camp is coming to Reno from June 19-23 to teach anyone with a disability how to ride a bike in just one week! Riders attend a 75-minute session each day for five days. At $125 per rider for the week it breaks down to just $25/day for a skill that will last a lifetime. Scholarships are also available to cover the cost of camp and to purchase a bike so if you're interested, we want you there!

United  Cerebral  Palsy of Nevada

United Cerebral Palsy of Nevada provides job training and employment services for all people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Individual programs are developed through a person centered planning process.
