Spring & Fall Registration

The spring and fall WCC class schedules are available online!

Registration for spring and fall WCC classes begins Tuesday, March 11 for WTMC students. Students should be in contact with their BASE advisors to prepare for the upcoming registration period.

Registering for two semesters at the same time requires some planning and an up-to-date EDP. Don’t wait until the last minute! Schedule that BASE meeting now. Make sure your EDP is current and ready to plan those upcoming semester schedules.

2nd-Year College & Career Seminar

The 2nd-year college and career seminar must be completed by all 2nd-year (11th grade) middle college students.

Everything you need to know is in the syllabus in the WTMC 2nd Year College and Career Seminar 2025 course on Canvas. This course will be recorded on your transcript. Complete the requirements to receive a passing grade and to register for your spring and fall college classes.

Questions? Contact your BASE advisor or the

WTMC counselors,

All assignments are due March 9.

Spring Class Selection

Spring WCC classes come in multiple lengths: 6-week, 10-week, 12-week, etc. WTMC students can only register for classes that end on or before July 23. Pay attention to the section numbers and the start/end dates for spring classes to be sure you’re choosing the right sections.

Remember, spring classes are shorter, but cover the same amount of material as a 15-week fall or winter class. Things go quickly in the spring. Keep that in mind while planning your spring schedule.

Don’t forget about WTMC spring classes! WTMC offers many spring-only electives to help round out your EDP.

Tutoring & Academic Support

WTMC Math Success Center: M-F during WTMC lunch & after school, 3:00 - 4:00, in BE 150 with Ms. Townley.

The WCC Writing Center: Open to all students for help with writing assignments, in LA 327

The WCC Learning Commons, located on the 2nd floor of the GM building, offers a long list of student support services like:

  • Study Help: Drop-in, study groups, individual tutors, peer tutoring, and workshops

  • Student Tech Help: Drop-in help, tech workshops, Zoom support, Laptop lending, and computer labs

Yearbooks are available for order now!

Yearbook Club has been hard at work on the WTMC yearbook! Don't miss out on your chance to order one!

Drop-off & Pick-up Reminder

Be mindful about drop-off/pick-up locations. Keep the bus loop clear and if you must wait for your student, please park in a parking spot. Do not line up along the curb. Lines of cars are blocking fire lanes and other traffic and are creating hazards for pedestrians.

Student Access to WCC Facilities

Be considerate of other students. The Quiet Study Room, the Reflection Room, and the library study rooms are never for socializing or eating lunch. There are better places on campus to meet up with friends.

Tips for a Smooth Transition Back to School After Break

When meeting with students the week prior to a break we often find ourselves reviewing a set of common tips in order to help with the transition back to school. When we are on break it’s easy to lose track of time, get out of routine and all of a sudden it’s the Sunday prior to school. Use these tips to support a smoother transition so you are ready to learn on that first day back.

  • Don't change your sleep schedule drastically then try to get back onto your typical sleep schedule a few days prior to returning.

  • Start mentally getting back in the groove of school a few days early (maybe Friday March 7) by looking at your planner, schedule, organizing your backpack and folders.

  • Throughout the entire break, maintain proper nutrition and hydration.

  • Schedule daily movement. On campus students are walking a lot between and getting outside between classes. On break it can be easy to slip into lounging around all day and not getting out and about. Find times to move and get outside on a daily basis.

~ Wishing you a restful and restorative break!
