The Learning Curve

Check out these new pitch tubes, custom made to drop in place of the cupholders on a Release Marine rocket launcher or Viking tower leg rod holder. The pitch tubes are up and out of the way instead of stuck under the covering boards on the transom. Great idea! For more information, contact Captain Eric Carlson at 561-818-8636.

Captain's Corner
Written by Captain Kevin Deerman
Due to the crazy weather, it's been a sl ow year for receiving any decent Wahoo reports from our members. However, the crew on the Gulf Eagle from Port Aransas were able to make it out in mid-February for a Tuna trip. After finding a slow bite at the rigs they decided to head over to the Flower Gardens and ended up catching around 30 nice Wahoo and a Sail to top it off.  So, we definitely know the Wahoo are out there, it's just a matter of getting to them. With the season half way over and blank leaderboards, it's wide open for anyone that can make it out at this point.
