Get out and get active at the first ever Camden Cramp Triathlon. In this choose your challenge event, bikers start at Victory Park in Marshall, MN. They pedal 8 miles on the Camden Regional Bike Trail to the park office. From there, triathletes run or hike 2 miles on the Prairie Restoration Trail. At Brawner Lake, participants paddle ½ mile around the lake. All abilities are invited to participate: sprint, go slow, or make it a relay. Car Cinema Night: Live Action Fairy Tale Remake

We will be hosting an in-car outdoor movie in the Marshall library parking lot on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Friday of September. Times will change based on the sunset. Due to license requirements, we can't share the titles here. This 2023 live-action remake features a classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. It is rated PG and runs for about two hours and 15 minutes. To ensure sightlines to the screen, space may be limited. Prime spots are first come, first served! These are in-vehicle events: you will use your car radio to tune in to the audio of the movie. When you arrive, tune your radio to 88.1 FM. In the event of rain, this event may instead be held indoors in the Marshall Library community room at the same time. This event will not be rescheduled.

Wahlburgers opens at Marshall Hy-Vee location

MARSHALL - Recently, shoppers at the Marshall Hy-Vee may have noticed the sign outside the store, announcing a new dining option in town. On Tuesday, store staff helped celebrate the official opening of Wahlburgers at the Marshall Hy-Vee. "People seem really excited," said store director Matt Parkhurst.

The event included food, games and activities for all ages, including a ride in Marshall Municipal Utilities bucket truck. Local organizations also had informational booths at the event.

Chamber E-Connection Guidelines & Policies

Newsletter Goals & Audience

The purpose of the Chamber E-Connection newsletter is to share our member's events with other business and community members. It's an informational newsletter and helps to promote our member businesses and their events. Each Friday, our newsletter is sent to over 1,500 individuals. Our separate emails are sent to the same list, but are held especially for our Chamber events and Business After Hours.

Newsletter Policy

E-Connection events are included based on the requests from the member business. The following criteria are requested by the Marshall Area Chamber for event submissions:

*Event flyers or submissions must be an actual event. We don't include sales or promotions.

*Events can be included in the E-Connection for one week free of charge. You have the option of adding one additional week for $20.

*Submissions to be included must be sent the Wednesday prior to that Friday's E-Connection - they can be emailed to chamber@marshallmn.org.

*All event flyers are for Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce members only.
