Car Cinema - The Librarian: Quest for the Spear |
Friday, July 19th
Starting at 9:30PM
Marshall-Lyon County Library
201 C Street, Marshall, MN
Car cinema is back! Throughout the summer and fall, we'll be hosting occasional in-car outdoor movies in the Marshall Library parking lot. Times will change based on the sunset.
Friday, July 19 – 9:30 pm – The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (action adventure, TV-PG, 2004, 1 hr 45 min)
This fun and campy action film is the first in a series. Flynn Carsen, a "professional student", has collected nearly two dozen degrees but no job ... until he's hired by the mysterious Metropolitan Library. When an artifact is stolen, it's a race across the globe to track it down and thwart the villains behind the theft. Can Flynn become an action hero, or will his studies save the day?
To ensure sightlines to the screen, space may be limited. Prime spots are first come, first served!
These are in-vehicle events: you will use your car radio to tune in to the audio of the movie. When you arrive, tune your radio to 88.1 FM.
In the event of rain, this event may instead be held indoors in the Marshall Library community room at the same time. This event will not be rescheduled.

07/09/2024
I’m writing to tell you about an exciting event at DQ which is right around the corner: Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 25. During this single day event, I’ll donate $1 per Blizzard® Treat sold to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping change kids’ health to change the future by raising funds for local hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. Each year, 170 local children’s hospitals provide medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of children overcome diseases and injuries. Money raised at my restaurant will aid the children in our community because it will support The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Minneapolis.
I’m hoping that you lend a hand to make a difference. Please mark your calendars for Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 25. If you would like to purchase Blizzard® Treats for your employees and help us increase our donation, I’ve attached a preorder form.
