Happy Provider Appreciation Day (May 8) to YOU!

Here at 4-C we try to celebrate the work of child care providers every day, in the work we do and how we do it. Child care providers are at the heart of so many families' lives, helping ensure that children get the developmental support and education they need. In the words of Susan Gale Perry, CEO of Child Care Aware of America, "Child care providers are the workforce behind our workforce. They keep business running and keep our children safe, nurturing their curiosity and preparing them for a lifetime of learning and growth."

We hope you take the time to celebrate your own work this Provider Appreciation Day, Friday, May 8!

Fill out your Child Care Info Review this May and get rewarded!

Thriving Wisconsin, together with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Child Care Resource & Referral Network, invite child care providers to participate in the “Child Care Info Review” Survey, launching in May. Your input helps provide full picture of the early care and education system in Wisconsin as the landscape of child care funding, policies, and programs changes. This information will help guide planning, awareness, and future support for programs like yours.

The survey is a shorter version of the annual Business Information Form (BIF) and will ask about enrollment by age, provider rates, and waitlists. The full BIF will still be released in August to track trends.

As a thank you, providers who complete the survey will receive a $30 electronic Walmart gift card if completed by May 8th, or $15 if completed between May 9th-31st (up to 3,500 providers).
