Tree Planting
Volunteers and the Essex Region Conservation Authority completed another mega tree planting project for Earth Day in the Detroit River (Little River watershed) last month! Thank you to the many Green Teams and individuals who braved the less-than-ideal weather conditions to plant 2000 trees. It was an amazing demonstration of being able to get a job done under adverse weather conditions. A big thank you to Enwin Utilities, Green Sun Rising Inc. and CUPE 543 for their sponsorship of these trees!
