During the month of May, our jean day contribution match is going to the Area 9 Special Olympics.

The mission of Special Olympics Michigan is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Athletes develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy while participating in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship among their families, Special Olympics athletes, and the community. The athletes achieve their dreams with the support of caring volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff. Donations from Michigan citizens and businesses provide funding for the program.

We are excited to sponsor Hidden Harvest's Celebrating Good Tastes 2024, which will be held on Wednesday, May 8th, at the Great Hall Banquet and Convention Center in Midland. 

All proceeds will benefit Hidden Harvest, the Great Lake Bay Region's only fresh and prepared food rescue program. Each month, they collect more than 250,000 pounds of surplus food from restaurants, food wholesalers, bakeries, and other health department-certified sources They then deliver it, free of charge, to nonprofit agencies serving residents in need throughout our community.

This year, we are also sponsoring McLaren Bay Medical Foundation's 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 4, 2024, in beautiful Uptown, Bay City. We will have a table under the sponsorship tent and will be giving away some free goodies!

Back again this year is the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 103 Wild Game Dinner, and we are happy to help sponsor this year's event. Last year was their first year back, and it was an overwhelming success. They are looking forward to seeing the outcome of this year.

This year's Wild Game Dinner is being held on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at the Lincoln Road Hall in Bay City; this fun night will feature great food, prizes, great friends, and more. This year's event is already sold out, with nearly 400 hunting enthusiasts and law enforcement supporters from the greater Bay City area.
