Unique Team and Individual Children's and Adult Amateur Hunter Championships
Team competition isn't usually found in the Hunter ring, but at the USHJA Children's and Adult Amateur Hunter Championships, presented by SmartPak, that's exactly what you get: great team and individual competition in a championship setting! You'll earn Zone HOTY points and create lasting memories! Why wait?

Get started:
  1. Apply online by your Zone's application deadline.
  2. Earn points in your section.
  3. Don't compete over 3'3" (you may still compete in a National Hunter Derby or Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper sections).
  4. Review the specifications and ensure you meet all criteria.
  5. Stay tuned to hear if you qualify!
Jumper team experience starts here
Hundreds of riders are currently listed on the qualifying lists for the USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships, and spots are still open. This could be your chance to represent your Zone at the 1.10/1.15m, 1.20/1.25m or 1.30/1.35m level, enjoy team competition and possibly earn a place at a USHJA Gold Star Clinic.

It's easy to get started:
  1. Apply before your zone's application deadline.
  2. Earn points in your section.
  3. Review the specification to ensure you meet all criteria, and follow any requirements so your points count toward qualifying.
  4. Encourage your fellow competitors to participate.
  5. Stay tuned to hear if you qualify!
Let us help you reach your higher education goals
According to the National Center for Education Statistics, for the 2015-16 academic year, "the average annual price for undergraduate tuition, fees, room, and board was $16,757 at public institutions, $43,065 at private nonprofit institutions, and $23,776 at private for-profit institutions." The USHJA provides multiple avenues for supporting members in the pursuit of their higher education goals.

If you are in college, graduate, professional, or trade school this fall (no matter what year) and have been a USHJA member for three consecutive years, you need to drop everything and apply for the $25,000 USHJA Foundation Hamel Scholarship for Further Education by May 15.

Additionally your zone may offer a scholarship or academic grant. Be sure to check those offerings at ushja.org/zones, select your zone from the map, and then choose Grants & Scholarships.
