Celebrating Community Banking Month with Random Acts of Kindness

In April, Hyperion Bank employees celebrated Community Banking Month by performing random acts of kindness in Philadelphia's Fishtown, Kensington, and Northern Liberties neighborhoods. Throughout the month, we enjoyed meeting our neighbors and spreading goodwill by sharing free soft pretzels outside our building, purchasing groceries for supermarket customers, delivering lunch to our local police and fire stations, and donating "wish list" items to Street Tails Animal Rescue (STAR).

Danielle Selway and Lee Green offer free pretzels to passersby at the Hyperion Bank building at 2nd Street and Girard Ave.

Meet MICHAEL IANNARELLI
Staff Accountant
Michael joined our team in January 2019, after working in accounting for regional insurance and technology businesses. As a Staff Accountant, he supports our operational team with a wide range of important financial and reporting functions, from account reconciliation and accounts receivable to payables and more.
Michael enjoys being part of our community bank, where he believes people can get the attention they deserve and have a higher quality service experience than they can at impersonal big banks.

Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in business from The Pennsylvania State University—Abington in 2012. He was raised in Cheltenham, and now resides in Glenside, PA.

Fun fact: Michael is a Philadelphia sports fan who also enjoys dining out both in Philadelphia and when he travels. What are his favorite restaurants?
