Greetings ACA/NE Members!
As 2022 draws to a close, we would like to take this time to thank you for your ongoing membership. We sincerely appreciate your support and engagement in ACA/NE's programs and events over the year.

ACA/NE presented a wide range of social and educational activities throughout the year -- thanks to your cooperation and support! To reach our networking objectives in 2022, the Association held in-person events, created new content, and reconnected with ACCA.

As we move into 2023, ACA/NE is thrilled to provide a fully scheduled (and then some!) calendar of education sessions to keep you and your staff updated on industry trends, changes, and information. While potentially harmful legislation initiatives at the state and federal levels will continue to challenge us, we are optimistic that our efforts to safeguard the HVAC/R systems will be successful.

Last but not least, we truly appreciate the chance to collaborate with ACA/NE and look forward to working with you all in 2023! We would also appreciate you marking your calendar for upcoming events (listed below!). More information will be available after the New Year.

We wish you, your loved ones, and your coworkers a joyous and healthy holiday season!

Best,

Cathy Flaherty, Executive Director
Katie Burke, Program Manager
Maggi Healy, Program Assistant
ACA/NE Continues Effort to Pass HVAC CSL
Members of ACA/NE met with the Building Officials of Western Massachusetts (BOWM) on December 21st to solicit their assistance in obtaining the Board of Building Regulation and Standards (BBRS) approval for ACA/NE's HVAC Construction Supervisor License (CSL) Proposal.
At the BOWM Meeting were Doug Hamilton of Central Cooling and Heating, Chris Morin, of Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating, and Tony Menear of Residential System Design of New England.

ACA/NE submitted the HVAC CSL proposal in 2019 but has since encountered difficulties and objections from the Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal boards.

On left, Dave Gardner from BOWM with Chris Morin of Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating.
We look forward to seeing you at ACA/NE's educational programs planned for early 2023! More information and registration forms for all programs will be available soon.
