All trolleys are equipped with vehicle tracking systems and interior video cameras which help investigate any reported speeding or traffic light violations.
Aligning with the City’s Service Excellence Standards and Ambassador Style Customer Service, the City developed training materials that include information to be shared regarding points of interest and landmarks.
The Mystery Rider Program also measures service quality including assessments of bus/trolley stop amenities, service reliability, cleanliness, and interior/exterior vehicle appearance, customer service, safety, and vehicle maintenance. Starting on October 1, 2018, the Mystery Rider Program began collecting data on drivers’ English language proficiency.
Miami Beach Transportation Department tracks all complaints and compliments to identify drivers who do not meet our service expectations, provide training as appropriate, and recognize those drivers who consistently demonstrate excellent customer service to passengers.
All trolley vehicles have identification numbers located in the front area, above the driver and outside of the vehicle. If you would like to share a comment, compliment or complaint, please provide details of the incident, including Trolley ID#, location, date, and time of the event
