Please hold in prayer our Regional Minister Rev. Dr. Paul Koch, Jr. and his whole family as they mourn the recent passing of his father

Paul Koch, Sr. Services will be tomorrow, Thursday, July 23 in Brookfield.

Please also pray for Associate Regional Minister Rev. David Woodard as he seeks treatment for leg pain, weakness, and limited mobility following a recent back injury.

Finally, Associate Regional Minister Rev. Angela Williams has had shoulder surgery and would appreciate prayers for her continuing recovery.

Jean Parker was honored at Crowder State Park for her many years of devoted work cooking for our Northwest camping program.

She is pictured here holding the 'golden spatula." presented to her by our Minister of Camps and Faith Formation Rev. Zane Whorton as he reads the Certificate of Appreciation from our grateful Region.

Jean had an additional celebration the next day at camp where her family attended and she was presented gifts from the NW camping program.

Cane Ridge Revival 225th Anniversary

Our Disciples Historical Society is pleased to announce the schedule for the 225th Anniversary of the Cane Ridge Revival. The event, which will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the historic Cane Ridge Meeting House in Paris, KY, will be a day to celebrate and reflect on the earliest history of the Stone-Campbell Movement. Featuring guest lectures, panel discussions, and worship, spend the day connecting with other Stone-Campbellites as we explore our shared history at one of the birthplaces of the movement. VBS at Fifth Street Christian Church

Fifth Street Christian Church in Columbia will be hosting Vacation Bible School starting with the VBS kickoff on Sunday August 2 and VBS August 4-6 with a youth lock-in on Friday August 7. Click on each of the links for more information!

This coming week's Global Ministries prayer request is for South Africa.

NBA’s Black Women’s Leadership Experience (BWLE) will be hosting two intergenerational events this fall. These three-day, in-person events offer a unique space for exploring what it means to be an intergenerational community of Black women journeying through identity exploration, as well as vocational reflection and discernment through service, the arts, education, and public policy.

The retreat dates are:

September 25-27, 2026 (Indianapolis, IN)

October 2-4, 2026 (Raleigh, NC)

There is no cost to attend the retreat; NBA will cover your lodging, meals, and activities. Participants will be responsible for their own travel; although some travel assistance may be available, it is not secured.

Are there college-bound high schoolers in your church or youth group? Are they interested in attending a Disciples-affiliated 4-year liberal arts college tuition-free?

The Disciples Leadership Program (DLP) at Eureka College is a full-tuition scholarship program designed for graduating seniors or college transfer students who are active members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Applicants must have a high school GPA of at least 3.0. In addition to full tuition, students receive up to $6,000 for travel-related service and experiential learning, along with mentorship opportunities and leadership development rooted in the DOC values of faith and intellectual curiosity.
