Thank You Host Congregations!

Thank you again to our Mid-America host congregations for serving as meeting hubs of General Assembly watch parties!

First Christian Churches in Eldon, Frankford, Kirksville, and Macon, as well as Affton, Branson, Faith, Millersburg, and South Street Christian Churches all opened their doors and welcomed fellow Assembly-goers with hospitality.

This first-ever online General Assembly was not completely without glitches, but was a terrific inaugural effort and will serve as a great starting point and learning experience for such gatherings in the future. We'll be meeting this same way in 2027, and then in 2028 we're off to Chicago!

Boundary Trainings

In-person Ethical Boundaries Training will be presented twice in the upcoming months. Our Mid-America clergy must renew this training every three years, so please get registered before it's too late. One session will be held on Saturday, August 1 at Abbey Road CC in Cape Girardeau. The other will be on Saturday, October 3 at Willow Street CC in Hannibal. Both will run from 10am to 4 pm. Registration is $45 which includes all materials and lunch. Register now>

Christian Ministries Scholarship Awarded

Our Disciples Women have awarded a Christian Ministries Scholarship for the 2026-2027 academic year to Breck Campbell. Breck is a member of Boonville First Christian Church, attends Phillips Theological Seminary, and hopes to become a spiritual director. We congratulate her and wish her well in her studies!
