On June 27th and 28th several St. Louis area Disciples churches joined the United Church of Christ, the Episcopal church, the Metropolitan Community Church, the Ecumenical Catholic Communion, the Unitarian Universalist, and the LGBTQ+ Faith Alliance to run a booth at Pride St. Louis. They distributed hand fans, buttons, and Jesus figurines. Festival-goers painted prayer stones and wrote prayers. Communion was available for those who wanted to partake. Our Rural Ministry Network invites you, members, leaders, and pastors to a free presentation of connecting rural and small churches. As Disciples of Christ, we are all at the same table, and together we strive to encourage, equip and connect Disciples of Christ Churches in the Heartland Region as we grow in Christ.
