St. Louis Pride

On June 27th and 28th several St. Louis area Disciples churches joined the United Church of Christ, the Episcopal church, the Metropolitan Community Church, the Ecumenical Catholic Communion, the Unitarian Universalist, and the LGBTQ+ Faith Alliance to run a booth at Pride St. Louis. They distributed hand fans, buttons, and Jesus figurines. Festival-goers painted prayer stones and wrote prayers. Communion was available for those who wanted to partake. Pictured in front of the booth is Kate Hastings of Peace UCC.
