Thanksgiving Eve Worship and Ingathering of Wine

Wednesday, November 22 | 6:30 p.m.

On Thanksgiving Eve, we will be gathering wine to be used for the celebration of Holy Communion in 2024. Please bring Mogen David Concord Grape wine (usually on bottom shelf with red blends or Kosher wines.) It is available locally at Albertsons, Rouses, Hi Nabor, Calandro’s, Wal-Mart, and Total Wine, and you can even order it online for pick up, like groceries, at many stores.

Ladies Christmas Party

All Trinity women and guests are invited to our annual Christmas party! Dinner, including chicken, ham, green beans, and cornbread dressing, as well as dessert, will be provided. If you would like to provide a salad to share, you may, but it is by no means expected.

To everyone who donated items for the Bake Sale, helped Saturday and Sunday, cooked soup, set up, took down—you are a blessing! All proceeds will be given to Orphan Grain Train Ministry, LA-MS District mission grants and National LWML mission grants. Mites collected will also go to fund mission grants.

Lutheran Witness Subscriptions

Due by Sunday, November 26 To receive or renew a subscription to The Lutheran Witness for 2024, please make a check payable to Trinity Lutheran Church for $22.00 and note "Lutheran Witness" in the memo. You can mail or deliver your check to the office or place it in the offering plate on Sunday.

Price increase and options Per a representative at Concordia Publishing House (CPH), who publishes The Lutheran Witness, this significant price increase is the result of rising print costs, and there has not been an increase for 7 years. The subscription through Trinity is for the print magazine only and does not include digital access. Digital access can be added to a subscription through the Trinity for $10 a year by contacting CPH directly; however, an individual subscription directly through CPH is $24.99 per year and includes both print and digital access.

Christmas Poinsettias

Orders yours now!

Each Christmas, we encourage the congregation to purchase poinsettias to decorate our sanctuary. A list of donors and their tributes is included with our Christmas worship materials, and, after the season, donors may take their flowers home. Order forms will be available at worship services or you may order online below. The price this year is $27.25 per plant and the deadline for orders is Monday, December 11. Payment can be made in the offering plate, by mailing a check to church, or online through Vance. Make checks payable to Trinity Lutheran Church.
