ARTS NEWS

Important Dates
11/19  Washburn Fall Arts Gala
11/30, 12/1-3  Student-Produced Theatre

Roaring Twenties Fall Arts Gala - Saturday night!
Hey, all you guys and dolls, don't miss the  5th annual Fall Arts Gala on Saturday, Nov. 19th! You'll have a swell time mingling with fellow arts supporters, enjoying performances, tasty food and beverages, viewing student art, signing up for Great Gatherings, bidding on silent auction items and more. Help us make a lasting difference for arts programs at Washburn!  It'll be the cat's meow! The bees knees! (Roaring Twenties attire not required.)

WHY attend the Gala? This fantastic party raises money to support all the arts at Washburn: band, black box theater, choir, dance, guitar, musical theater, orchestra and visual arts. Past Gala events have funded the WHS auditorium thrust stage, arts equipment, recording studio, a pug mill for mixing clay, microphones, printing press and much more. This year we are raising funds for a rubber dance floor, murals, choir risers, theater instruction, paper cutter, clay extruder, sound system, instruments, choir uniforms and other arts equipment.

WHEN: Sat., Nov. 19, 6:30-10:30 p.m.

WHERE: St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church, 3450 Irving Ave. S., Minneapolis (tickets available at the door)
